Re: What's in your parts stash?

Nothing rare just a few bits waiting to go on the truck, new carpet set, new dash pad, Edelbrock performer EPS manifold, HEI dizzy, Mickey Thompson valve covers and some assorted bling. I do have a pile of Triumph Spitfire bits though and even some odd Alfa Romeo stuff left over from various past projects.

*chuckle* Hey - it's not a stash if you let stuff go Seriously, I had plans to build a very cool '68 SS427 Chevelle convertible (fake)...but had to give up the project car before I started (focus!) I'm still trying to decide if I want a BBC in my '69 'Vette...so on the shelf it stays

BG is making new Demon SNC and BBC tri-powers; I have to think these would be far better than the old stuff I have. I do wonder if the triangular air cleaner would fit...

Re: What's in your parts stash?

Couple 72 rear axles, a 70 axle, some step fenders, couple front fenders, extra set of doors, hood, wheels, couple of 69/70 grilles, 3 or 4 cowls, extra SWB frame, 69 front crossmember, bunch of little things, dashes, wiring pieces, window regulators....and I dunno. I haven't gone through my complete stash of ziplock bags recently, so who knows what I might find.

Hey Phil, one of our engineers just got back from doing factory acceptance testing on a piece of equipment in Ipswich England. He said gasoline there was equal to about $8 a gallon. WOW!!! and I thought $2.69 we are paying was a bunch.....

Yeah, it sure ain't cheap running a 350 over here, thats why it's no longer my daily driver and my daily is now a 2.8L turbo diesel Isuzu Trooper, much more wallet friendly at 30+ to the gallon. My truck came from a guy near Ipswich.

Re: What's in your parts stash?

Not too much left in the garage, as it's slowly going on the truck. I guess my best find was a pair of brand new NOS still in the box GMC Magnum/351E V-6 cylinder heads, with valve seats. The boxes had never even been opened.

Re: What's in your parts stash?

I buy,don`t sell.I used to be a vendor before repro.Let`s just say "I got stuff."I built a screened-in BBQ house w/ attic for parts.I built a little barn/shop(24x20)with an attic for parts and 1/2 full downstairs.My house has an attic,some parts up there.I rent a barn/shop with a loft,two trucks in there the rest...parts.
