That truck looks great! I need a fuel door like that for my bed also. Where did you get yours. Is it a good quality? I keep seeing junk ones online.

Great looking truck...all the way around!.
Any comments or tricks on making an aftermarket cowl hood & grill fit? It sure looks good...better than most. You were considering CST/buddy buckets. I think they would still be a nice extra touch. |

I was not able to get engine shots tonight as promised as I went up to a local cruise and stayed there until dark. I will get some posted soon. |

Impressive machine and craftsmanship my friend! Did that first drive make all the frustration of building it worthwhile? I remember times when I would wish I had never seen or bought my K10 due to the grief it was causing me!

As I stated previously.........IMPRESSIVE! How driveable is that little engine combination you have there?

Re: 71 Short Box project now on the road.
It is not to bad. The supercharger is a little diifferent than a blower so it has to spool up like a turbo. I do not start seeing boost until around 3000 rpm. It loves it gas stations however. It makes it fun, at 40mph you can stand on it and it will leave a patch that looks like someone just took off.

Re: 71 Short Box project now on the road.
Have you had a chance to run it at the track yet? If not, think you'll make it this year?
