Re: WTB am/fm radio

I've been kinda watching this, but I ended up buying an 8track player instead.

Re: WTB am/fm radio

I have this one it is very clean and all the buttons and knobs work as they should it worked when removed from a 79 C/20 a couple of years ago I'd do $75.00 shipped to you with the knobs

Re: WTB am/fm radio

Man I should've been more patient and waited for my fellow forum friends to come through like that. I put in a bid for 1 on eBay already. If I get outbid then I will let you know. Do you have any way to test that?

Re: WTB am/fm radio

If you win the other one, I might pick this one up. I'm still thinking about going original in my 79.

It will fit your Blazer but isn't correct for it as it is for a newer model. Yours would have black push buttons and black rubber knobs. Beautiful radio Jeff at at great price!

Re: WTB am/fm radio

Well I won the eBay auction. Jeff and Mark I appreciate both of you trying to help out. Like I said I should've been more patient and waited to see if any fellow forum members had anything before jumping on eBay. Obviously once I bid I couldn't back out and I was the only bidder.

Thanks, I'm in no hurry. Just want to be first in line if it works OK. I don't mind if it's not "correct" for my 74 as long as it fits and works. I think it looks better than the black "correct" one...

Re: WTB am/fm radio

Rather than start a new thread thought I would ask here. I have a 76 non stereo am/FM radio with chrome buttons. Has anyone had any experience with any company that refurbishes the radios? Mine kind of works but has a scratchy volume..Tried contact cleaner etc but no go. Or if anyone has a working one I may be interested. Thanks.
