Still working on fitting the cowl. Got the glove box all polished up. I can't wait until the rest of the truck looks this smooth.

I got my A/C condenser installed and a couple of the lines run through the core support. I changed my mind on the radiator set-up and used an aluminum radiator from speedway. I had originally wanted to use the 2009 3/4 ton radiator, but it would have taken too much modification to the core support to make it work properly.

Couple more shots of the radiator. I tried throwing in a 2007-2013 truck seat. I did not feel like I had enough room due to the size of the seat and I had to have the seat too strait up to feel comfortable. My dad had a 2009 Cadillac CTS parts car that just happens to have tan leather seats in it. So I will be pulling those and modifying them to fit the truck. As I have looked so far it will not take much to get them in the truck. They are heated and cooled as a bonus. I am not sure I will be able to get all the fun toys to work but my wife has told me the heated portion is a must! Since she doesn't complain about the trucks I will make her happy.

1.) How did you make your fuel line? Specifically where the line meets the fuel rail. You have a part number for that gold piece?
2.) What gauges are you going to run?
3.) Who did your harness?

They are rally replica wheels similar to camaros but 17" chrome wheels. There should be some pictures of the on the last page of that build.

Photos to come as soon as the upholstery guy gets done with it! The bed is still getting body work done so it may be a few weeks on that unfortunately. I ended up with some hickory wood to do the bed with, just something a little different.

I took the factory end to extreme hydrolics in temple tx and that is what he made for me. I will try to find a part number next time I am there.

I have the digital gauge cluster from lmc I am going to try to make work. I am still in the process of figuring this out since this is my first swap.

3.) Who did your harness?

I got some Hickory wood and used the measurements from GMCPauls website to cut the wood. I then used minwax Helmsman to seal and protect the wood. I put 5 coats on sanding between each coat. I will buff the finish right before the install.

The hickory looks great, and its different. Should hold up well too. Don't recall you mentioning, but are you going with polished or painted bed strips? Also, congrats on the engine startup!

Thank you I had some assistance from my grandad. He is the wood expert I just follow directions well.

Going with polished hidden bolts. Should have a pretty clean look. I went with hickory because I liked that it was a strong durable wood but also has some nice character to it. I can't wait to be done so I can cruze down to your house!

I haven't mounted them yet but from looking at the drivers side centered on the steering wheel, it doesn't lOok like I will be taking advantage of the factory hole/nuts. Mine seem to be centered when sitting almost on the edge of the floor hump to the left of the outside factory mount. I will probably be drilling new holes and using a large washer or plate on the bottom side of the cab (this is basically what comes from the factory). I ran into an issue with my drivers seat. The drivers seat has a computer/curcuit board that appears to operate the seat, and I believe mine has a malfunction. I can get the passenger seat to work without any issue but the drivers seat is unresponsive. I have an impala seat that has the same track width, so I am going to see if I can swap the cts bottom and back to that track and use a less complicated seat. I am planning on recovering the seats anyway so I will get something worked out. Speaking of recovering I just got my highlander material in! It was a bit expensive ($89 yard) but I really think it will help tie the seats to the truck. No my truck is not a '72 therefore not a highlander, but since it has a ls 6.0 in it, I figure its not original therefore anything is fair game and I really like this material.
