Thanks I did try just above what I thought I could do and ya it looks great. To bad it gets covered by the seat but I know what it looks like. Just like the rest of the truck, all shinny side down.

The blue radio/ player is for motorcycles and is a china knock off. It has a usb, sd card, fm , mp3, 1/8 jack that I added a blue tooth module to. It has enough power to rum the three ways and a sub amp. I bought both radio and Bluetooth units off amazon, the Bluetooth module needs to be turned on and off every time. Not a plus but I can route the cable to my ashtray.

Looks better than the springs. Some kind of black stretchy material.

Perfect fit easy access to the panels and plenty of room when open. Another upgrade checked off the list.

Re: 67 long box

made up some rear fender supports as the old deflector plates don't fit. Had to cover the power fuse it looked to new and just didn't look right.

Working on the door logo and I'm liking it. I picked up the pulleys to hook up the A/C, sand blasted and painted.

Re: 67 long box

Pulleys painted and ready. I found two sway bars today, couldn't pass up a deal. I ordered a new set of grease able bushings and new front springs. I'm not happy with the ride.

It looks like I put some miles on it but it's still purdy. Not much for exhaust but the basics.

Re: 67 long box

A simple set of brackets to hold the sway bar are 80 to 100 bucks to get them here in Canada. There are no scrap yards with these years trucks around here. I would be broke if I couldn't make this stuff. Crazy.

Re: 67 long box

New front springs and sway bar. It's sitting at just the right height, now to remount the rear sway bar. It's all covered in bugs and mud from a buddies cottage last year.

Re: 67 long box

Put my rear sway bar back in. I hope it rides better, it should, I really need to drive the truck when it rains so the bottom can get washed.

Re: 67 long box

Very nice work as usual. Still one of my favorite trucks. Question- is that rear sway bar something you made and I missed it, or a modified one? Looking at your pick, I think I could make it work with my c20 leafs....

I see ya made it through winter and thanks. There is very little c10 stuff around here and the prices of states parts are stupid. I can't say I'm getting closer to being done but I'm sure it will never be. Hope ya find some good deals

Thanks man , it's my own design and built from scratch. I based it on the Hotchkis rear sway, but it didn't cost 1000 bucks.

Yes found a set of 8x15 6 bolt 4 nub for 1/2 of what they usually sell for. Picked up a couple 67 lighters and 2sets of 67 seat belts with retractors. Full set of 67 interior handles and wait for it..... a speedwarning gauge set for $20.00. All in all a good couple days other than the rain and 50 mile an hour winds.
Leaving tomorrow for the 1000 mile trip home.

I have the ability but not a lot of money and I hate paying for a name. I can say I built my truck. It's back out at the end of the month, can't wait. You could have one fabbed up by a welding shop very easily. Some Chromalloy round bar with 2x3 HHS tube, and the sway bar bushing kit is 64 impala front , but that's my way of thinking.
Cheers Derek
