TH350 question

Hey guys...I am looking to put a th350 in place of the 3 speed manual and I need a little help figuring out what parts fit. Hoping I can draw on some expertise in here.

Engine is a 250 inline 6. I know I can use a standard SBC starter, but I am confused about the flexplate. Anyone done this swap that can offer some helpful hints?

Re: TH350 question

I'm getting ready to pull the 250 with 3 speed auto out of my truck, going to replace with a 292 and 200-4R. Also have plans to pull the steering column and replace with a tilt column. Sounds like everything you may need but not sure where you are located.

Re: TH350 question

i just did this sat you need a 153 tooth flex plate at first i had a 168 tooth it was to big and the starter would not even bolt to the block so go with a 153 and your set
