Ok, the story is I work 70hrs or so a week so I have "no time" for my projects. All the extra time I have I spend with the family, but I will make some time for this project.

I've been wanting to put a 327 in the 67 for awhile now and I finally found one locally. It's a 327 out of a 66 vette that has been rebuilt recently and will be perfect for what I want. My plans are to remove the front clip and repaint the firewall white, detail the frame and make everything look new & somewhat original "looking" under the hood and install the 327.

I also want to redo the interior in black, clean up the bed paint, get another set of wheels (20/22 combo) and do something with the suspension (Hotchkis, Porterbuilt or Ridetech). Finally I may repaint the truck!

It looks good with the rallys but man, it used to look amazing with the intro's!

Oh, and just think....your truck will not only have buddy buckets now but also the "rare corvette engine option"

I needed to replace that ugly crate motor & since I have all the original 327 A/C brackets etc...might as well. An the corvette motor has all the goodies (forged crank, hump heads & a performance cam). So it should be a little stronger then my 250hp crate motor. Plus I should be able to sell it for what I paid for the 327.

The buddy seats are sweet (they even fold forward) and I just picked up a set of restored black 67 seat belts. The interior will be up next, then the wheels!

I think I've narrowed it down to these, but I saw some SEMA pics with some new designs coming out so we will see!

As soon as I get my rebuilt rear end back from Diff Works, I'm going get the camaro back on the road and start on the 67. I just had the new suspension setup installed & on the way home from getting a new clutch my rear end grenaded on me

Pics of the new wheels I got for it & mocked up w/o the rear end!

those valve covers are awesome! nice truck! keep it up the 60 is nice as well the rims go with the flow of the car which looks nice

The valve covers are not staying. I'll either go with the standard blank or dimpled ones (w/327 sticker) and original 67-68 aircleaner. I'm going for the "stock-ish" look!
