Post Brake re-build cost on C-10 axle

Gentlemen-
I thought I'd share this as I was rather impressed. I went to Autozone to get brake parts for the new rear end (fully expecting to have to order), they actually had EVERYTHING in stock!
* Six lug drums-----$26.00
* Complete hardware kit---Under $8.00
* Rear wheel cylinders----$7 and $8
* Even adjusters-------about $7.00

I was pretty impressed, and thought I'd let you guys know. I thought those were fair prices.

Kaycee-
Yeah I know. That's why i thought it was worth posting. I installed everything about midnight last night. Perfect fit! I will admit though, I've done several brake builds in the past, I've never seen quite that many springs!!! J/K. Maybe it was the damn garage lighting....yeah that had to be it.

That's what I love about our trucks. $25 starters and alternators, easy to find parts at the local autozone etc.

Can't make the wife understand why I want to get rid of my 99 Envoy and get 4 WD Jimmy or Blazer. Everything on that Envoy costs a fortune to repair. How about a 700 dollar headlight?
