Post Oklahoma City car show this weekend.

Anyone going? I had some friends leave today for it, and some others are going for the weekend. I am thinking of going down Sat. for the day and evening. Never been to it, but everyone says it's always a great show, lots of cars and trucks, and all kinds of hot rods.

barn9, I'm here in OKC this weekend and there's some cool rods around. Was by Parr Automotive (on NW10th and AnnArbor)they must have had a get together there. No 67-72 trucks that I've seen so far....

Not sure if I'm going to be able to come down there tomorrow, but if I do I would like to meet you. Is there any area that you are using as a base, or are you on the move. If I make it down, I will wear my board shirt. I have a couple friends staying at the Marriott, and they told me to come and crash in their room if I want to come and stay. Where are you staying?

If I come down, I'll probably drive the ol' caddy for comfort, gas mileage, and I don't worry so much about some idiot putting a dent in it. Got a brake problem on the truck I haven't figured out yet, and I'd hate to have a failure in that OKC traffic.

Just thought I would let you guys know that I'm not going to make it down for the show. I was trying to finish a builing addition on Fri., and didn't get it done, have to go back today and finish. Weather looks a little rough down that way too.

Finally it has quit raining. I wonder why they moved the dates. Someone should have know better than try to schedule an outdoor show this time of year in Oklahoma City.
