Re: Seat ID?

77-80 Full Foam Non-tilt. But it will bolt to any 73-87 cab floor.

Re: Seat ID?

Got another one, obviously not right for the '62 it's in.. Tracks are different than the other seat I posted, maybe 67-72?

Re: Seat ID?

Tracks are not 67-72. They have riser tracks, like this. Someone modified to fit that seat in that truck, hence the wood under the track.
The seat itself, can you take a closer pic of the seat back hinge, where it bolts into the seat bottom? And on the drivers side, so I can see the adjust handle.

Re: Seat ID?

Sure, here you go. I suppose it could also be Ford, Dodge, etc.

Re: Seat ID?

It could be another make. The bolt used to anchor the hinge to the seat bottom, I have never seen a hex bolt used on a Chevy seat, even on the 67-72. And on the tracks, it’s hard to make out what’s going on there, lol. But because the 67-72 uses risers, it’s obvious that is why the wood was used. But it’s hard to tell what actual tracks were used.
Here’s a another picture of those tracks. They are marked 68-69, but they are 67-68. The other tracks 69 up to 72 are very similar to these, just slight variations in the mounting to the seat bottom frame and height.

Re: Seat ID?

Thanks TKCR! I'll look for clues when I pull the seat later this week, ducking near 100 temps here in SoCal right now.. Hopefully there's a tag or stamp somewhere on it, will post an update if I find something.
