Re: Medium Gold Blazer?

I think mine is supposed to be medium gold. This is a repaint though. The original owner told me that he tried to get it repainted the original color, but was bummed out that it came out a little darker than original.

It’s been awhile since I checked the SPID but I’m pretty sure it was medium gold.

It’s a ‘70

There were no limits in color selection with K/5s. C10 King has a low mile original 2-wheeler for an example

Re: Medium Gold Blazer?

Thanks. The original owner got it from a guy that was in his Blazer Club in Southern California in the 70’s. He didn’t remember the men’s name but told me that it was an eagle ventures hood.

He told me that the man either gave it to him or sold it cheap because it popped out of the mold and wasn’t going to be sold from the company. It is a little twisted but as they say...good enough for who it’s for!

Jaros44sr, I will try and get some photos of the hinges this afternoon.

Re: Medium Gold Blazer?

This is a picture of an already blurry picture of the blazer club I mentioned earlier. The original owner is standing with his blazer and is second from the left in the front row.

He said the club was on a run up to Bishop CA which is a few hundred miles north of Los Angeles, they pulled over to arrange this photo . One of the guys climbed up on a hill to get the shot. Pretty cool

This was before he changed the hood and the grill. And before he cut into the top to put a sun roof. Ouch!

Re: Medium Gold Blazer?

lts70, sorry didn’t mean to hijack your thread. To bring it back to the topic, I think there are a couple medium gold trucks in the photo

Re: Medium Gold Blazer?

jaros44sr, sorry for the late response. These are the only photos I have of the hinges. I’ve never taken it off, but from the posts I’ve read it is all fiberglass except for a steel but or threads in the hood.
