And here's the rest of the story....patiently waiting in my shop.
I hope you not still waiting. I remember reading this this thread 6 months ago , but now I have felt your pain. I bought 2 15x8 5 lug steelies at the 1st part of Aug. from Summit. Jegs offered the 15x10 for 10 percent less so after seeing that they ship within 24 hrs I ordered on Sunday. Right away they are on BACKORDER . I call Monday, I'm told Sept.9th they are expected , OK... I can wait..Tuesday they are showing on there web sight that the expected due date is 11-16-19. I called Tuesday and cancelled , that night I ordered @ 9:59 eastern time from Summit ... they were on my porch by 3:10 Today. Their price was within $2.50 with the current promo.

Re: Wheel Vintiques / JEGS Rant

So you lucked out with Summit still having some in stock on an item that is on back order. I was looking to order some of these wheels about a month ago, pairs of 5 and 6 lug, and the sizes I needed showed "available dates", so I aborted the plan for now. Both Summit and Jegs are great suppliers, but they can't control things ahead of them receiving the product. They tell us what they are told. They don't just make something up. The manufacturer changes the date and they change theirs. One pair I wanted was said to become available a date not too far off. I figured I'd wait till that date to check back and order if they say "in stock"

Thanks for reviving this thread, and reminding me that I did not post a final outcome. I thought I did so, but obviously didn't.
The remaining wheel finally showed up in late March. All were promptly painted (once I was sure the two front wheels matched) and installed, as in the picture below.
I have been dealing with some health issues this year, and apologize to the community for not completing this thread.

Re: Wheel Vintiques / JEGS Rant

As I said previously, Wheel Vintiques aren’t allowed by Summit to ship wheels until they have a pallet (or two) ordered shipping from California east is expensive. After waiting for weeks for mine I called Wheel Vintiques. They had 39 in stock. I called Summit back and hollered enough asking for them to be drop shipped to me from Wheel Vintiques and Summit did it. So Summit and I would bet Jegs too, controls the time it takes to a large degree

Re: Wheel Vintiques / JEGS Rant

I have the same problem with an order through Summit for a Wheel Vintique wheel. I already have a set of 4, mine are 16 inch and just wanted a matching spare. I ordered a 16x7 Rallye the last of May 2019. The newest delivery estimate is 9/30/2019. We'll see. I guess they just don't make these smaller wheels that often.

Re: Wheel Vintiques / JEGS Rant

If you still need them try the Wheel Smith. I heard they moved to Sin City.

Wheel Vintiques has had issues for 10 years or so with timely orders.

I wanted a set of rims they had for my Camaro, but no one had them in stock. So I called out of curiosity to see the time frame, and it didn't sound right talking to them. So I went another way.
