Thanks again for all the great comments! This goes to show ya what can be done with help from this board and reading up on how to do stuff. I`m not a body man...its just that I sure as hell couldn`t afford to pay someone to do it for me so I just did it, its the first vehicle I have ever painted or done mager body work to. I used to be a mechanic but got tired of it and now I work at Polaris, and love it. I tore this apart about 4 years ago and worked on it for one then got tired of it for two then just busted a$$ and got it done this last summer, since the wifes car isn`t gonna get around to good in the Iowa winters. The seats came out of I believe a `88 -`94 Suburban , at least thats what the guy who sold them to me thought.,all I know is they were lowbacks like I wanted and grey just like I wanted.Thanks again and I`ll see ya around on the board

The ride height is just perfect...for me anyway i`m like 5'10. The front mounting part sits on the hump thats in the floor and I used one original hole, the back sits a little lower so its got a nice reclined feel to it. I`d compare to the original buckets but its been so long that I don`t remember what they were like

Here's another set of those seats in a blazer-2WD...with the console. Also, Just put a set in a 70 3/4T. They fit & feel good. Oh and you can just see the matching rear seat from the same era late model.

What kind of headers are those?
Did you have any problems with the collector on the passanger side hitting the spring shackle?? Or front drivshaft??

Those are Hedman Elite series headers #69830 . I got them from www.northernautoparts.com for $300. There kinda pricey but well worth it if your like me and hate having to mess with headers They have a nice 3/8 flange and collector flanges, 14 gauge steel thats HTP coated so they will last forever, fit really nice also, just slid right into place from the bottom.I have 2.25 stainless pipe running all the way to the back and some edelbrock stainless trueflows that I also love. Its pretty quite in the cab, they don`t have the low frequency rumble like Flowmasters do, they are more like a glass pack sound. the headers I had on this 5 years ago were also Hedman cheap ones and they were longer and taller and did hit the leaf spring bolt so I know what you mean. These the collector is alot higher than the shackle and doesn`t even come close to hitting anything.
