Well hells bells Matt... I might have to use the "Custom" from the "Custom Camper" I got off of my 1972 GMC C25 parts truck for my 1972 GMC C15. I could care less if it's on the SPID... I wikes it!

I wouldn’t think so but I guess he thinks it was wrong for me to reply that I would like to find a set. Funny how you hear “use the search feature” but I guess we should start a new thread instead?

Re: GMC "Custom" door emblems

Has anyone located any "Custom" door emblems. I saw the link to the pair that were listed for 6 times what a decent price should be and so far that's the only pair I've seen after searching for hours.

Lightbulb Re: GMC "Custom" door emblems

So..

GM original part number was 3929491 then changed to 328771 in 9/1979.

These are the door Custom emblems usually paired up with the same script Camper emblems...

Here are some:

Thanks. Crap, looks like I'll be welding those holes up. Those are in about as bad of shape as mine. I should have kept mine and chrome painted mine. I didn't know they'd be hard to find with the plethora of emblems at Holly, Classic Parts America, and LMC.

Wink Re: GMC "Custom" door emblems

The first one isn't terrible. except for the one missing mounting pin. The listing with the Camper emblems is laughable. All of the pins are missing and the emblems aint that great..

Apparently, the repro parts companies don't see a big enough demand of them, therefore they are not reproduced yet.
