Re: Looking for opinions on these custom eBay door panels.

Look forward to seeing what they look like without the Chevy emblem and in all black. I was going to email him the exact same question about not having the emblem, glad I checked on here first.

I believe at under $100 a pair you'd sell lots of them!

I actually like the ones with the blue bowtie and bought them. I'll get them next week and let you know how it looks.

I've used these door boards for many years to recreate 100's of different door panels before they went to plastic molded panels .One more thing is you want to use countersunk flanged chrome trim washers when you install the lower 4 1/4x20 countersunk screws into the door so the screws don't pull thru the pressed cardboard panels.

NO , I'm not the ebay seller .

I have a complete interior shop set up here at home and can build anything you want. I'm also thinking about making custom tailgate cushions to match the interior of your truck for those tailgate parties and not having to drag chairs to the car shows if there's any interest ?

When I get home later on. Also, I asked in another thread about what thickness medium density foam to get for my spring bench seat. You probably never went back to that thread.

Re: Looking for opinions on these custom eBay door panels.

I also ordered black and chrome reproduction '67 style armrests as well as '72 escutcheons to use with these.

The arm rests you got are a for earlier than '67. No matter, it's custom.

Re: Looking for opinions on these custom eBay door panels.

I just spent the day picking up materials ,foam and the waterproof door boards to build some sets to list for sale in the classified section and if anyone wants something a little more custom or basic all I need is a basic drawing or picture of what you want to build them to your specs .I'll be listing some on Ebay also .A little competition for the guy already building them is always good and will bring out some different patterns that aren't available right now .

Re: Looking for opinions on these custom eBay door panels.

I got around to installing my drivers side door panel today. I went with '67 Camaro arm rests. The mounting holes are nearly an identical match. I like the style of these arm rests.
