New guy from Jersey

Hey guys, just wanted to introduce myself. I just picked up a '68 GMC pickup and I'm psyched to get started on the beast. Here's a few pics:

I'm also working on my '81 Camaro and building a 406 cid EFI engine with a Stealth Ram system. Hope to learn a lot here!

Well, let's see. Forty-four inch super swampers, 4" lift blocks, 10" suspension lift and a 3" body lift. That equals...too high for me to get into without a running start!

Well, so far my plans are:

1) Keep it hidden from my wife for as long as I can
2) Take out the body lift and blocks
3) Replace the 44"s with 38"s
4) Swap in a diesel way down the line

Here are the rest of the pics:

Boggers

Frame

Cowl panel (usually rusted)

Bedsides

Cab Corners (missing some paint but no rust)

Yeah I'm about 10 minutes away from the track. I don't race my Camaro so I only ever go for the swap meets, but it certainly attracts a lot of nice rides.
