Nothing to do with overcooking the hops UV light breaks down the acids which then binds with the beers proteins causing the beer skunk . You can do the same storing near a grow light . Thats why a lot of beers are in brown bottles it doesn't happen as much with brown bottles . Heat or refrigeration has no play in it

Been brewing for 20 years and have taken a few classes

X2, clear or green gets skunky (oxidized) according to my instructor. Brown protects the product better.

That trim is painted on? Props! That guy ought to go to work for Sports Illustrated!

On the Step fenders there was never a GM-stamped trim panel for those curves.
Stepsides don't generally have the moulding rear of the Cab. [Stepsides are generally Standard, not DeLuxe, anyway.] So that might be the reason for painted-on trim. Impressive, if they did w/o the mouldings and just painted the whole trim on.

The lower trim is indeed painted on and cleared over.

Wow. As a stagehand, I've had to paint wood grain onto opera sets. No one really gets close enough to see it, and the lighting is focused on the talent anyway.
