Yes it is. I'd considered on for my 1957 a long time back, but the cost and availability ruled it out as an option. The nice thing is they can be tweaked up to nearly stock 6BT output giving up reliability.

There is a local IH that the owner swapped in a 4BT. The installation looks like it came from the factory and it runs like a top. I'll see if I can track down pictures that I took in 2016.

Purcell69 - Ya. I have a "recipe" for around 400hp and 800ftlbs of torque. The Kuntz Bros has one with that for a daily driver with no problems. They also have a drag racing bread truck that is pretty awesome.

What did you do for pedals? Installing a gas and clutch pedal is one of my major hurdles as im not sure where to start. I already have the brake pedal installed via a power disc brake conversion kit i ordered online 5 years ago (https://www.performanceonline.com/19...-bolt-pattern/)

I used s10 pedal assembly and followed skymangs s10 how to thread. Instead of vacuum brakes I went to the junkyard and got hydraulic brake booster out of a 90's astro van. Runs off of my power steering pump.

Thanks, I was just trying to figure out how I could use the space because patching it and trying to match the paint would be a nightmare.

Very nice. Looks as though the 4bt came in there. Sounds like rod knock or a tractor is funny, I have been told mine sounds like an old transport truck. When you turn your motor up to 10 it should really move.

Ya, I have an NV4500 in it now so I could turn it up a little bit. Just have to spend the money for parts so that it can be turned up safely.
