really bad grinding noise
my engine has a really bad grinding noise ,seems as the starter gear isnt engaging with the flexplate just grinding it ,any and all advice is really appreciated thanx

Have you checked to make sure the starter bolts haven't loosened up? If they're tight, then it sounds like you need a new starter.....and possibly a new flexplate if this has been going on for very long.
