I've never seen this before

So it's claimed to be a 68... It's got a toroflow. Please enlighten me with any info you guys have. I realize it's not a standard 68 cab but there is similar components with the 67-72 chevs..[ATTACH]Name: image.jpg

Re: I've never seen this before

Yep, that's a Toro-Flow diesel in a '66-'68 H or J series 70, engine code "M". We have a forum where we talk about the medium to heavy duty trucks all the time. I'm sure all your question could be answered by the ones who specialize in these

Re: I've never seen this before

It's obvious I don't know anything about the diesel engines. I saw the v6 valve cover and knew they had a big 478 gas engine and jumped to the wrong conclusion. I thought the cover tag read OH-478, but after the last much more knowledgeable posts I found the DH-478 on 6066 GMC's web page.
http://6066gmcguy.com/toroflow.html

Very cool. Thanks

Re: I've never seen this before

That engine can easily fool anyone, because you are looking at the same thing.
