That is awesome! I would donate the sport bumper I have, but I don't think shipping would make it worthwhile.

Cool, I like that and have just the candidate out on a trailer that I made out of a pickup frame. those parts are the only pieces of the box on that trailer are about all that is worth saving from it.

Re: Saturday pics (5-23) A WORTHLESS recycling project.

Thanks guys! And thanks for the offer on the bumper! I'm sure a cheap/free one will turn up sooner or later. If not I'll wait til I'm at a show and pick one up for my lowrider. That'll free up the one I'm currently using for this project.

Re: Saturday pics (5-23) A WORTHLESS recycling project.

Let me describe it. Cut the tail end of a truck bed off and hang it up on the wall to make a stow away bench out of the tailgate. Slick idea!!

Need to build one a bit deeper with bar shelves behind it and barstools made from utility buckets.

Re: Saturday pics (5-23) A WORTHLESS recycling project.

I found the photobucket account with the pics. Man I wanna build one of these. PanelDeland, I like the idea of the bar shelves. But I think I'd have to put it in the basement and fill it with booze!!

Re: Saturday pics (5-23) A WORTHLESS recycling project.

With what tailgates go for,I'd only be able to build one from a beater gate that would probably collapse when you sat on it. At best you'd walk away with rust stains on your britches

Re: Saturday pics (5-23) A WORTHLESS recycling project.

I bought a 72 swb to part out and I will be starting to cut the bed apart this Saturday night. How many inches do you cut off the bed? From the pics it looks like to the middle of the marker lights. I want to attach mine to the wall and use it for a work bench.
