1970 blazer

Can you guys give me an idea of what you think this blazer is worth? I have been wanting to start a project for a while. I have a good idea of how much I will have to put into it and how much I'm willing to spend on it - just want to get another opinion.

It has a 350 in it and is not running.

Thanks,
Tom

Thats basically a parts truck to me. Nearly all sheetmetal is shot, I'd offer $100 over scrap value. Thousands and thousands in body work.

Re: 1970 blazer

I'd offer $500 if you really like to cut and weld patches. Otherwise I'd walk away.

I agree, pretty much a parts truck.

Re: 1970 blazer

Redeeming factors include:

Stock Buckets
Stock center console
Stock A/C component, including compressor
Np205 (27 spline input, which is easier to get adapters for than 10spl)
Rally Wheels with trim rings
Hard top (double wall) with hatch and glass
Front fender and hood look decent
uncut dash
tailgate, doors, glove box door, ashtray
upper radiator cross over tube
original block/carb?

but definitely a lot of work on the tub....

however, I don't see anything (yet) that is not fixable. How is the windshield frame? How bad is the rocker box, etc.? How bad is the firewall/cowl?

I'd guess $500-$1200 but price is so subjective. It is a buyer's market...

Re: 1970 blazer

Think to part out 500 so you can make a little on it for rebuild i bought a 70 gmc solid body little work on floor running smoke when first cranked with single wall top 350 custom leaks oil transmission fluid but run and drives good for 2500. Would not want to tackle the body work good parts blazer.
