Its probably in the Red. But the Green may rub as well.

Look close for where its hitting then grind there. there is NO fluid running through this part of the caliper so you are good to grind a bit away.
I seen the witness marks. I have a pretty good idea where I'd need to grind. I'm just not sure I really want to do that just yet.

I run 6" 6 lug up front and 8" 6 lug on the rear. I like that look. I found 4-4 nub 6" just in case I decide to up grade to disc brakes. Those 71&up 6" 6-bolt rims are out there and fairly cheap.

you might give these guys a call - no guarantee they have em in stock (lots of things they list aren't in stock), but they do still list 6" wide 6 lug on 5.5 bc 71+ wheels. They do exist, I've been to their warehouse when I lived in CA - for hubcaps. But they do wheels too. Worth a call.

Thanks guys, very good info. If I can't find them locally I've found them online for around
$50 rash with free shipping, believe it or not.

Re: Stock 6" 3 nub wheels on 12" CPP disc brakes?

I know everything is different but I had a similar problem running some Pontiac rally's on my GTO years ago and made some 3/8" spacer plates to move the wheel out so it cleared. That set of wheels got moved to my S10 and the same plates used. By now the wheels and plates have about 250k on them with no problems. The plates cost me $60 to have them made by a local machine shop to be an exact fit on the hub.
I stacked washers on the lug nuts until I got clearance to determine how thick of a spacer I needed.

I would check your local auto salvage place for a mid 70's 4WD K10 truck. I got a set of 4 for $50.

Re: Stock 6" 3 nub wheels on 12" CPP disc brakes?

Over the Christmas holidays I did install 6 lug disc brakes. The 71-up 6”rims fit flawless. A quick blast and paint and nobody would know there has been an upgrade done.
