Found A Good 4X4
Found a nice 69 GMC 910 4X4 in a barn at an abandoned farm site which has been unoccupied for bout 15 years. Last rgistered in 79 and has 65 481 miles on the odometer. Truck is complete with 350 2V 4spd. The truck is Orange with white cab, wood box floor, full gauge package, Custom sport interior, Carpet,Chrome bumpers and grille. This was obviously a farm truck as there are a few small dents and scratches here and there but there is no rust on the body whatsoever. The catch is that the windows were left down so the mice have made this a permanent residence. They also like to invite their friends the pidgeons over to sh!t all over the prize vehicle. so can you imagine 20 years of pidgeon sh!t!!!!!!
The air cleaner has been removed, for what reason I do not know but it has probably been like that for 20 years. I called the guy who looks after the estate and he didn't know the truck was even there, but he wants me to make him an offer. What is reasonable for this truck??????

chances are good that he doesnt know what the hell he has, start with 200 or so, i guess, depending on the cab corners and rockers and other stuff like that, but he will prob let it g for next to nothing

The guy didn't know it was there but he is an older fellow who is familiar with these trucks and he says he figures those trucks are in demand. He was going to look in the Auto Trader to get a ballpark estimate for a price. He is out to lunch.

chances are the motor is froze up sitting that long. I would start out somewhere in the $200 - 300 range and see what he says.
