Keep up the good work Rod! I hope it works out for you. Mine will show up on the door step today(15th) by the end of day. Although mine is not an adder it still makes me nervous.

Aww. You will be good man. Just take your time and do a good install. I should have enough pics and stuff to give you a idea. If it works like mine did at the beginning you are going to be a happy camper!!

Re: 1976 Square "Simple Green"

Got a email back from Jeremy said he had to make changes and had to change all the enrichment tune files. I did not send them my o2 sensor so that may be at fault also. They plan on keeping it and testing and making changes in it this weekend. They had me send them my motor specs and stuff. So if everything checks out they will ship back Monday and getting me another o2 sensor. Man I am pumped cause I really didn't want to go back to a carb.

Re: 1976 Square "Simple Green"

I forgot also when I took the FiTech off and drained the fuel from it notice some little glittery sparkly look stuff from the fuel. Poured it on a towel looked like traces of some extremely fine metal dust. So idk. All I know is when I get it back it should be good to go again!!

I do imagine you have a filter after your pump but any chance that filter could let that "dust" past it?
You had a problem with one pump and replaced it. Can't remember what was happening to it and why you replaced it. Was it "eating" itself?
Besides the Fitech coming with the "dust" in it only other thing I can think of is the filter itself. Could there have been residue left from manufacturing?

Can you pick the "dust" up with a magnet?

I have a filter on feed and return line. But I doubt it was filter I flushed the lines when I installed everything before hooking it to FiTech both times. I guess dust was the wrong term more like little shavings prolly would be better term. I pulled filter and drained it nothing in it. And honestly idk how big 40 microns is in size but those had to be bigger than 40 microns it wasn't a lot but enough I could see. No magnet wouldn't pic it up. Thinking about it now I have seen those before in a couple of new carbs from the manufacturing process. Hmmm. O well **** happens I am just excited about getting it back!!!

Oh yeah the left overs from manufacturing. It's wonderful stuff.
And since no magnetism they are probably aluminum, same as the FiTech unit.

Here's 40 microns

Same here. This is no BS they got it a Friday around 430 and straight put it on a test vehicle and tested it. Now that is customer service! Plus they are going to do more test on 2 other vehicle and drive them with it on it all this weekend!!

Re: 1976 Square "Simple Green"

XS Power batter installed and charging per instruction. I had to make a little mod to the battery clamp. Nothing a angle grinder couldn't fix.

I'm curious if this "customer service" would be the same for the 'who' (the rest of us) vs. you?

Watching closely regardless because I'm interested in something like this for my 64.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Ray here.
I let be a lessen to myself and others.. Sometimes you have to play by the rules.

My body arrived on Friday..
They my get a look at it the first of the week and let me know later in the week...

Hopefully whatever problem RG10 has going own with his unit is the same as mine...
This would keep the down time as short as possible.... would like to have it back by feb.1 (mud truck race) We will see....

I don't see why it wouldn't be. All I have done is emailed and talked with them on the phone. Just like anyone else can do.

Ken sent me a video of my FiTech on the dyno but I can't get the video to post. I will work on it and see if I can post it.
