Sticky Starter
I go out to start the c10 today , starts up as usual and the starter sticks , talk about having to think quick when your not use to that , on my way out of the cab I pop the hood and run to the garage as it's still rolling over , grab a couple wrenches to disconnect the battery and as soon as I get back and get the wrench on it , it stops , It was rolling for a while , I could smell it.
So now I'm thinking every time I start it it's going to stick again. JEEEZ. |

Re: Sticky Starter
Or a bad solenoid. Clip a voltmeter onto the 's' terminal (the little one) of the starter and put the meter in the cab. If its the ignition sticking you'll see voltage on that terminal after you release the key.
