A little more explanation would help with your quest. What is the problem you are having? Is your fuel gauge not working? Have you replaced your sending unit?

Re: where to I find 90 ohm resistor for the fuel gauge?

sorry here is more info.

71 gmc suburban - just replaced the sending unit and tested it out for 0 - 90 ohms and it reads correctly. gauge will read full when wire is disconnected, but will read empty when grounded so unloaded the gauge seems to work. when its all connected, full tank of gas will only show 1/4 tank on the gauge.

so I am at a loss. I have read that the resistor is the likely culprit. any help is greatly appreciated.

Re: where to I find 90 ohm resistor for the fuel gauge?

This info is way past the date of your posts but just for info... the company you sent the info on for a new resistor no longer has them in stock. Their supplier is not carrying them anymore. The company said they're looking for another supplier.. so just FYI... I'm looking for that resistor as well.

Sounds like you need to adjust (bend) the arm on the sending unit
