Check the block on the firewall.

The junction block itself isn't a fusible link. But one or more of the wires connected there have them. Also, fusible links can blow and still have most of the insulation intact.

A OEM fusible link normally is butt connected to the wire inside a hard plastic cylinder that is about 3/8"x1".

Can't tell for sure. The pic pixelates too much on zoom in. My 75 has a single wire in that spot with a link and a 2nd single wire without. Don't know if OEM wire sets ever ran dual wires bound to one link. Could be a PO combined both wires on one link.

Yes should be down a 6-8" on the first, then the other is down by the starter. The have black plastic joined in the middle of the wire at that point and that the {fusible link} so this is How GM did it if your wire lead is say is 14GAUGE the fusible link will be at the plastic 16GAUGE so it melts there but not the rest of the wire.
( But the Factory Gauge Fusible Links seem to be a little bit thicker then the After market replacements.)
