Almost ultrasonic cleaning for $10?
I have a $10 palm sander (20k) and some steel 2.5G buckets (a carb can fit in for example). Why not make an almost ultrasonic cleaner?
I'll do it but just tossing the idea out there. |

Wouldn't the sander just vibrate the bucket and contents?
Ultrasonic cleaners use sound waves to debride things. I realize vibration is sound, but not sure if it translates the same way? I would think you'd need to use a transducer and sound source that's tuned out to a specific frequency to make that work.
