89 chevy silverado

I'm picking up a parts truck this weekend. I will be parting it out. Let me know what you guys need. I'll start making a list. What I don't sell here will go on ebay, so let me know early. What I'm getting it for is the motor. Everything else is for sale extremely cheap.

Looking for a 700r4. Let me know if you have one in there and I can pick it up if cheap enough.

No problem Scott. If you need help if I'm there picking up the tranny I can do that as long as I'm back in Dallas in enough time to pick up the wife.

Hey 79BIG10,
That truck don't have the 700R4, but I've got someone that wants the standard trans that's in it and he will trade me a 700R4 for it so I guess you can say that I have one for you. I'll let you know when I get it.

That would be great. If you can get me some info on it that would be great like what it came out of etc. If you can get me a passnger side pic close up as well that would also help me find out what year it came out of he wasn't for sure.

I know the 700r4 is in a 1986 chevy truck and it's been converted with the lockup kit which can be taken out and put back to stock. I know this because it was my old truck. I bought that trans @2 yrs ago and installed it. Works great.

Was this a rebuild of the 86's factory tranny or was it a totally new tranny to the truck?
