belt mouldings

I am looking for replacement belt moldings for both doors. They are for a 67 with the one piece window conversion. I have called a few places and I have had no luck. I really do not want to buy a $400 kit for a couple of moldings. Any suggestions. I'd just about settle for anything that fit the length of the door and looked good.

Thanks Guys.
This site is a wealth of experience and information. I am doing body work on a 67 step side(customers) and next in line is a 68 lb(mine) that will end up a swb.

Re: belt mouldings

You can buy pieces here. Or on eBay. I bought a whole used set here in the classifieds section for $40

Welcome Oscar! You can buy individual pieces of molding from LMC. http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/cb/t.aspx?Page=40

Re: belt mouldings

thanks guys. I tried lmc. The lady i talked to was sweet and trying but probably shouldn't be selling car parts. I got the same from some others.

The problem was that the one piece windows belts are longer and need a longer piece. I have also shaved the inset part of the door by the wing glass so now the top door edge is smooth. The old belt moldings were borderline but now wont work since the edge has changed.

I made some strong coffee and got my google-fu on this morning and found a supplier that makes some belt moldings that come in 72" strips. More than enough! They come from a Restoration Specialties and Supply company. if anyone else is needing to change, upgrade or has the same problem.
