This is such a beautiful truck. I didnt know if you had already posted on your suspension. It looks like you have an axle flip with blocks? It looks like the ride height I would like to go with.

Could you please link me to your suspension pictures again? Its been a long time but now I am about to start my project, finally, and I am unsure of how I would like to set it up. Since this is one of the sweetest looking rides Ive ever seen I wanted to attempt to make my ride as clean as this one.

Words can't even explain. This truck is fantastic. What I really love about this truck, and I admire others that are doing the same, is keeping the oem look to the truck. There are no fancy add-ons here. But with the newer era style rims, drop, and engine, it totally tops it all off! Incredible.

Yes. Everything was removed including the original factory seam sealer (the bed liner stuff). From what I remember, laquer thinner removes it w/o too much trouble.

Scoti is correct. The shop that did the install cleaned up the firewall so I'm not sure exactly what they used. In the past I have used lacquer thinner and even gasoline to remove the factory undercoating.

Yes, I know that was very dangerous, but it worked and I was determined to get it off.

Ken, your truck never ceases to amaze me. the attention to detail is absolutely unbelieveable. gives me a little inspiration for my own 77, but mine will be a little taller and a little more heavy duty.

back when I was on here a lot, I really enjoyed seeing the progress of your truck on the "what did you get done?" threads... It has turned out to be a very stunning ride! I love how everything "flows" with this truck. Subtle changes that the "normal" crowd might miss, but has us "abby normel" folks drooling like Pavlov's dog. very well done!

I am new to the site, just found it a few days ago while on Porterbuilts web site.

Ken, I got to see your truck in person back in 05 or 06 at a show in Fredericksburg, TX at Lady Bird Johnson Park. It was still the detailed stock motor, but a fantastic truck. I got to say, now it is way better...

I hope to see it in person again now that you have made these changes..

That was the Street Machine Mini Nationals. Man I miss that show. Unfortunately that was the 1st year it was moved from Waco, and the last year it ran.

Thanks for the compliments. I hope to have it at a few shows around Texas this coming Spring.

All baseball hats, derby hats, pimp hats and cowboy hats off to you and Stoked Out. It’s that kind of passion, determination, creativeness that keeps the Classic Trucks and Truckin magazines off the shelf and gives us classic truck owners drive to finish what we started. Thanks for sharing N2Trucks, we all need inspiration and the thousand words from your photos.
