Hey thanks, I just took the pics yesterday. We don't usually get much snow here in OK, so I couldn't resist getting it out and snapping a few.

I hear what you are saying. When I went looking to buy my truck I had all intentions of buying a fleet side. Never even thought of buying a step side. Then I found my step side. I bought it while still vowing to swap the bed. As I started adding wheels, tires, drop springs, etc., I fell in love with it and now I wouldn't have it any other way! I still love the fleet side, but this one is staying the way it is.

Good luck with your decision.

I have both sitting in my garage. My wife wants the step side and I'm leaning toward the fleet. I'd keep both but when I put in the rear 4-link I'll have to decide.

Re: All stepside trucks!

I still have work to do on mine like finish the bed wood install, finish the vintage air install, do the side marker gas fill mod for the blazer tank, install the front sway bar, install the retro sound radio and cab corner rear speaker brackets, get the buckets i bought recovered and swap the bench. I did get the rally wheels swapped yesterday for some 15x8 wheel vintiques 67 Chevelle caps and repro stainless trim rings.

I may lower it some more. Being an old fart I like the truck ralleys. DRIVES GOOD.
The 71 my dad and i built and and a couple of years ago was originally this color.
