Where to go from here-

I did some fast body work on my 72. Nothing fancy, few hours at best.

The truck was nearly engulfed in a wildfire on passenger side.
After some light filler work and 2k high build, I figured id toss some spray paint on it.

After all said and done, it turned out quite nicer then I planned on.

I was thinking of clear coating it.

Would I wetsand the paint first, then clear. Or shoot it in the satin clear then wet sand and buff?

I should have just painted it, if i knew it would be fairly straight. Oh well.

Thoughts?

Re: Where to go from here-

That looks really good for rattle can. I'd honestly be pissed it came out that good and I didn't use real paint.

I don't know how well proper clear will lay down over that. I would assume it would have a reaction with the other paint and cause it to lift. Probably best to email the tech line of a few paint companies and see what they say. I don't think they will have good news though...
