Drop Spindles - why won’t they fit ?

Hey guys. I’m looking at a set of drop spindles off Kijiji but I’m scratching my head as to why they won’t fit, or will they ? Part # CP4S2. The box says works with 71-87 1.25” rotors, is that if you are doing a disc conversion?

Summit racing says it fits 63-70 C10. I have a 72 C15 with factory disc brakes. Why would these fit a 70 but not a 72?

The used smaller balljoint and tie rod spindles up to 70 I believe.

Bnorth is correct you will need to use earler tierods and balljoints to use the 63 70 spindles

Disc brake spindles require slightly different parts vs. drum spindles (from the factory). The aftermarket spindles vary on what fits what as there were many 'variety's' of the drop spindle for the 62-72 trucks.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Correct. Those were the exact part numbers I just installed on my 67 and they required ball joints and tie rods for 67-70 models.
