Re: The Official Bagged K5 thread

Anyone have a suggested thread for notching the rear on a 4wd conversion? I installed trailing arms but have not got to notching the frame yet. I am way too high in the rear! Most would say the front too but one thing at a time.

Sweet, nice part. I wish I would have found those before I made my own spring pads but makes it clear what I need to do. Thanks.

Re: The Official Bagged K5 thread

I put my single 5 gallon tank between the back crossmember and the bumper. All of the electronics and valves are mounted on the crossmember itself, and the compressors are mounted on the outside of the framerails just in front of the bumper. Wiring was cleaned up after these pictures were taken.

Re: The Official Bagged K5 thread

A couple more pics showing the compressors tied into the tank. I also used the remote mount intake filters that came with the compressors and mounted them on that crossmember as well. They are in a spot where any water that is splashed up can't get to the filters. I don't have any pictures of that because it is all packed in so tightly that you can't even see it once it is all in place.

Re: The Official Bagged K5 thread

Thank you i have been struggling with this for weeks now before I purchased. I bagged my c10 and there was more room to hide the components. I really appreciate it. Cheers
