steering shaft on body dropped trucks?

anyone with a body dropped truck have problems with the steering shaft hitting the a-arm? it seems to me like you shouldn't if you used 3 joints (isn't that the most you can use?)

I don't know about body droping but I do know about pto shafts on farm equipment and it would be about the same thing. As long as you have some kind of bearing block holding the unsuported pieces of the shaft I would think you could have as many u-joints as you wanted. But i could be wrong.
