Suburban Quarters Update!!!!

I wanted to update everyone on the progress on the Suburban Rear Quarters I sent to have reproduced... They arrived in New Jersey and were unloaded off the truck this morning. They arrived in exelent condition and I was complimented on the "Bullet Proof" crate I built to ship them in. (They arrived without damage)... They will be loaded onto a ship this coming Wednesday (in my bullet proof crate!!) and should sail within the next day or so. They are still telling me april or may to have the new quarter patch panels along hopefully with smaller patch panels for that area. They had me lay out what I thought would make the most desirable patch panels, so I did that also. We should have both inner and outer rear quarter patch panels available from the samples I sent them. WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com

I don't own a sub just yet, but thanks for your effort! Now if I find something with a little rust, I know where to go for parts. Thanks again Wes!!

I am surprised that if anyone is going to repo rear quarter panels, I would think that the fleetside rear quarter panels would be the first one to be done first due to the sheer market numbers. Can't believe that there is more demand for Suburban rear quarters than fleetsides. Sigh.

Wes did your supplier say if the die will be tooled from metal or composite plastic? My plant manager asked what they were gonna' use. He said some dies were being made from the compsite. Thanks for your efforts to get this done.

Now you have them after I had to fabricate all the rust away with patches on my panel quarters. Two months of constant cutting welding and grinding, Wiping and sanding and priming.

Nobody that I know of. You should be able to use pickup rockers for the front 2 doors and cut down another for the 3rd door. WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com
