Nice dirty room. Glad to see you getting your room done.
How have you guys been the last two days with all this crazy weather? My parents have gotten a TON of rain the last few days with some flooding, but all good.

It has not stopping raining since Friday and there has been lots of wind. Luckily not high winds but enough to make a mess of tree branches everywhere. The weather is one of the reasons why we have gotten so much done on the room. A few friends of mine flew in from Indiana for the weekend and was nothing else to do this weekend other than work on the framing. I worked their butts off and it was their vacation

Re: 69 slammed, 22"/24" bbc shaved clean

The C10 doors are finally in final primer. I had someone prime these doors about a year ago and he did me a favor and primed over some surface rust and primed over the old seam sealer. 3 days later they are perfect. Between the doors and the cab I can say the budget was busted. The suicide doors really added a higher degree of difficulty. A friend of mine designed and made the suicide door hinges so everything has been done by scratch. I think the two biggest obstacles was making hinges and then re-enforcing the door because a lot of the door structure was lost when the hinges were installed. I will be glad to see them hanging.

I know you will wonder what the heck is hanging in the background. Those are some theater seats from a local theater. We have disassembled them and sandblasted the seats you see on the right hanging and the seat legs (frames) you see on the left. This is the kind where the seat bottom flips up when not in use. This is a project for my brother and we will be painting them shortly. We have found someone to recover the seats and the seat backs.

Oh yes the wife not happy I have turned a rolling clothes rack into our rolling rack to hang small items to paint.

She has another one and I have been tempted to grab it too. They really work well. There are rod extensions on each end and extends up to 8'.

Re: 69 slammed, 22"/24" bbc shaved clean

We finally got the c10 frame up on some jack stands on Friday. I told myself I was not going to work on this frame until I got caught up on some other projects but I just could not help but to bolt some stuff on We have all been through installing and removing parts but it sure does feel good to put something on for the last time. Using as many stainless fasteners as possible without breaking the bank. Decided to use a charcoal grey as an accent color so we shot the power rack, brake boosters, and air tank yesterday. I guess now I am bolting on I am going to have to start covering up the frame. I can't stand seeing dust all over it.

The bulkhead 3/8 inch push air fittings are visible there on the side. I will work on taking some close ups of some of the plumbing work we will be doing as I go.
