It's pretty and all but its not all original. Painted firewall for one thing. Missing upper metal rad hose unique to 4x4's. Black water pump?? How about that OEM plastic fuel filter. I'm sure there's a whole lot more thats just what I decided to pick on.

Re: 1970 GMC Jimmy 27,101 miles

I didn't see a claim for it to be all original, but it is in very nice shape. Compared to the prices some of the eBay trucks have, I think it's pretty decent for something that clean.

Of course, it's more than I would pay...

Holy cow that's a lot of orange! I guess most of the hugger orange blazers I see have black interior. It is pretty none-the-less.

Re: 1970 GMC Jimmy 27,101 miles

Although they don't call it original they do label it a "survivor" which I would say certainly implies originality. They also say its original paint which it is not. Like the other guys, I'm not knocking it, its a beautilul truck and it seems priced fairly if its as good as it looks in pictures. What I take issue with is the misrepresentation by the seller.

Re: 1970 GMC Jimmy 27,101 miles

It is nice but I'd question 27K on it, wrong air cleaner, door panel being ripped, tailgate upper bracket is bent up, as was said firewall being painted. It just doesn't add up to 27K jimmy to me

Re: 1970 GMC Jimmy 27,101 miles

Whether it is a "survivor" or not isn't really that important to me. However, for that price they could have at least replaced the cracked steering wheel!

I'd still take it... and make it 2wd!

it has been cleaned up, but I wouldn't knock the truck too hard. It is a reasonable price for what is represented.

Re: 1970 GMC Jimmy 27,101 miles

On the surface ..... nice looking truck, but it looks 127,000 miles and fixed up too me. Drivers seat outboard cushion looks to be broke down , never seen that with 27,000 original miles , again nice looking truck , but maybe not represented correctly.

Very nice Jimmy, just the fact that it still exists make it a survivor IMO..
