Hello 72 GMC 1 ton

Been on this forum for a while and cant remember if I ever introduced myself and figure I should before diving in again. I have what I believe to be a GMC 1 ton with a dump bed. The model type is #3 and the resource I have does not list it as either a pickup,Jimmy, or Suburban. It seems it may have once been a crew cab. I am new to having an old truck and have a lot to learn. Anyhow here are some pics and would love to learn some things about it. I use it for small jobs around the house and will be registering it to go back on the road soon.Name: IMG_20201211_132130763_HDR.jpg

That looks like it would be a very nice work truck! Looks to have 16" wheels and a newer dump bed. You say it used to be a crew cab? I wonder where the old cab went?

thanks
a bit of searching through the forum and it appears that code #3 was cab and chassis so it all seems to add up. Tag on dump bed is definitely newer.
