I know an old retired sheet metal guy that could lay down solder with an iron like that you'd swear was painted on with laser straight sides and uniformity.

He was also one of those that could scribe a line then split it with the shear.

not collectors tools yet but getting old anyways LoL

held a little soldering demonstration to repair a battery pack in one of the kid's toys..

and some hands-on practice with the wire strippers and a bundle of scrap wire

Ever see that Movie "Sweet Home Alabama" ? in it some old Confederate Grandpa is blowing up in the air anvils all over the back yard of this old plantation house.. one fell thru the roof of the Pergola and others were sticking in the yard all over ,,must of been at least 6-10 of them ,, That's a nice one you got ..sure are rare to find one anymore ,, good for you to have one ..
