Weatherstripping for 65 Suburban Side Slider Windows???

Does anyone know who sells a weatherstripping kit for the factory side front and rear sliding type windows for a 1965 Suburban...other than SteeleRubber? Their tool is down for 3 months and the new ride I picked up is missing them.

I'm not too familiar with where to obtain parts for these ole Subs...they don't seem to be as easy as my '68 C10! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I checked Precision, they don't offer such a thing. Thanks though for responding.

I've got some windows stripping in packages that came with my burb. I think it came from Brothers. I'll have to look when I get home. I never used it because I went with Steele.

Let me know what you have and if you're interested in selling. Thanks!

You will be sorry if you don't buy the Steele ones, been there done that, unless you are good at mitering a 120 degree bend in a straight piece of rubber.

That's what I've heard from a few people. I have no choice right now as the tooling is down at Steele for three months right now I've been told by the company. I'd be happy just to get something to keep the sashes from bounching around and open for the time being. The vehicle obviously doesn't stay outside and I can be careful when I wash it until they can make them.

Thanks, I'll look into that even if it's a temporary solution until SteeleRubber tooling is back up and running.

After speaking with SteeleRubber again, I guess the piece that is unavailable is the flexible window run channel itself. It's an 8ft. long piece of 9/16" tall x 5/8" wide and fits 7/16" glass. I'll have to see if anyone else carries that piece.
