It can but it’s not 100% bolt on. Can’t remember exactly, but it’s on the trans side of the adapter. Google it, info out there lol.

What version ? Fig 8 or round 6 205 .

And yes its the trans side that needs the attention.

Round 6 style they make a adapter/ spacer for ZERO mods bult up .

Fig 8 needs little more work .

What 4l80-e trans output shaft length are you running ? Stock 4x4 or 2wd slip fixed or full spline 2wd ?

It’s a figure 8 adapter and the trans is a 4l80 4wd the adapter didnt come with the coupler so I would need that too. Have not counted splines on output shaft nor do I know Length.

All the 4l80s are 32 spline (i believe) but you'll need 4'' of stick out

Re: Th400 - np205 adapter

32 spline th400/4l80-e stuff is male female only .

Coupler sleeve is only 27 spline or 10 spline .

You need to do some measuring work to make sure the stock adapter will give full spline fit . You might need to swap the short 205 input gear for a long input gear used on round 6 style 205 to get you were you need to be . Another option if trans is not built yet is a 2wd full spline shaft and cut off extra as needed . Then also machine the index lip down a few tho to fit in the case bore on the 4l80-e .

And how do you plan to run the trans with no electric speedo sender on the 205 ?

There is ways around this . Few places do mod them for a sensor now . But you loose mech speedo .
