Re: What Tires do you have on your 15" rims?

15x7 rallies all around.

BFG Radial TA's. Blackwall out.

Front--245/60R15

Back--275/60R15

I know the specs...the 275/60's are 7.5"-9.5" wide rims. My rims are 7" wide. Have had no problems. Most tire guys will tell ya that a half inch will not make a difference.

Hope this helps.

Re: What Tires do you have on your 15" rims?

From 1987-1994, I rolled BF Goodrich 275/60/15s on 10 inch wide wheels on my trucks.

I don't know how many sets of tires I wore out, but it was a few. They work fine.

Re: What Tires do you have on your 15" rims?

heres 295-50-15 on a 10 inch wide wheel. Best choicein my opinion, unless your truck is not lowered then I think it would be way to short of tire.

Re: What Tires do you have on your 15" rims?

What back spacing are you guys using for the 8 and 10 inch rims? I am wheel hunting right now and do not know what back spacing I need to order. I don"t want to have clearence issues. The Truck is lowered 2 1/2" in the front and 3" in the rear. I plan on using BF TA's, P245x60xR15 in the front and P275x60xR15 in the rear. The wheels I'm looking at are offered in 3.75 and 4.75 in. back spacing. Oh, I have a 1969 GMC short bed with the 6 lug front disc conversion.

Thanks,
Dale

What back spacing are you using? Have you had any interference issues running that large of tire on the front?

Your truck looks awesome!!!!!

Re: What Tires do you have on your 15" rims?

Firestone makes a real wide tire for the rear. I have P295/50/15s on the back of my 67 C10 stepside. They actually are 13" wide when mounted on a 10" wide rim. Weld Prostars. They are Indy 500 radials. And not too tall.
