Re: Vintage dealer emblems

I can appreciate a rant like that. That`s some rich information ever bit as interesting as any other stuff we rant over on this site. It`s history in my eyes and I love it.

That Dick Handy one reminds me of a time I was in a clothes store with my wife. You know, out of town and the wife wants to shop. This was in the early`80s when the whole designer name on the outside thing first got big.My designer is Levi Strauss and they did it 100+ years ago.Anyway...I`m dazing around the store,no sales girls worth looking at,just dazing at clothes.I`m taking in the names and I see one on a pants back pocket across the store."What`s that say?Dick what? Oh,it says Head. What?I must say that`s awful honest. Is that fashionable now.I guess it`s popular to be one now?Hmmm..." I walk over closer cuz this is something good to tell me friends."Oh...that`s Duck. They`re Duck Head pants.

Re: Vintage dealer emblems

The last time I saw one of those my step dad was screaming at the dealer when he put a pair on our new 72 Corvette. We had waited for over a month to get the first one because of all the options. The dealer had to order a new Corvette because my step dad wouldnt except the one with the emblems.

Re: Vintage dealer emblems

Aaah. What a cool collection!

Have you considered swapping for others
from across the nation?
I have a collection of dash plaques I offered
to swap, but no action. You might be luckier though!

Your stuff is WAY cooler!!

Again, very, very nifty!

Re: Vintage dealer emblems

Hey guys my stuff is not for sale, just showing you all pics of the emblems I have. I don't want this moved to parts board so if you have some for sale or want to buy some, you post yours on parts or WTB board for sale. Thanks Randy
