Thanks 68stepbed. Knew it was something like that. Amazing how the quality of products has changed over time.

Re: New Look

Looks like you went from a one piece window to wing vent windows? True? Reason? Am I wrong?

Re: New Look

Ha! Was waitin for someone to catch that. Second pic has the windows up and there is a reflection of my front yard oak tree in the perfect spot to make it look like there is vent window in there. Good eye though.

Re: New Look

The new look gives it a more finished look. With the grille and bumper painted grey folks might ask, when are you going to finish the paint. As far as the tint goes, tint the whole side glass or not at all. I drive an umarked G-ride all day and it's fine during the day, but at night window tint sucks (my opinion of course). The trucks looks great! Oh yeah, I like the black wheels better.

Re: New Look

Side windows are 1 piece. Side glass and back glass are tinted glass not film tint so that ain't changing.

That's how they were originally also. The only chrome steel trim on these trucks was the chrome bumpers.

Re: New Look

I am in favor of the New Look, although if I hadn't seen it, I would have liked the original just fine.

Re: New Look

Chrome grill and bumper look good. I think silver rims would look better. IMHO

Re: New Look

I wasn't sure but how do you like the one piece side windows? Some people say they are drafty going down the road, you know road noise but what truck isn't? My wheels are almost exactly like your black ones but I went for a different center cap, round with bowtie, all chrome. So of course I like the look of yours.

Re: New Look

All the way up the windows seal perfect...no wind noise. I like em a lot. Some people don't like em...say it takes away from the classic look of the truck. To each his own.

I really like both, however with the new chrome the old pic looks boring in comparison. 0.02
