Found a wood bed in the junkyard today. Think you have seen it all?

That's right a wood fleetside bed. Not just a wood floor, but other than the front panel, wheelwells and tailgate this thing is 100% wood, nails and screws. Then it was covered in gelcoat or something. I only had my phone on me so the pics aren't the greatest. Besides the upper body line not flowing down toward the back it probably didn't look too bad when it was first done. For a WOOD BED! I'll add more pics shortly.

Yeah I'm still in shock. i guess it could be bondo, it is pretty thick in places. Would bondo stick to wood? Although what ever it was didn't stick very well anyways. Some of the bottom coming up.

Brings a whole new meaning to the term "Woodie"!

Bondo...it smooths over the rough edges after Duct Tape has bound the universe together.

No doubt a Craftsman. I do not think he got into the right project for most of the mindset around here.
