Hi all, Thanks for letting me join this fine group. Here is my 66 C10 long bed I just bought. It currently is running the stock 283 and a New Process 4 speed with fourth being an overdrive gear. The transmission is from a 81-87 1/2 ton. It has the same gear ratios as a 700R4. Future plans include a front suspension with disc brakes and sway bar from a 79 C10, a 62 327 300hp with a 350 hp cam and intake, Carter AFB from a 65 409, Hooker headers, a 700R4 transmission, in dash air conditioning, power brakes and 15X8.5 American Racing 200S wheels. The truck is rust free and still has factory rockers and floor pans, cab corners and hood. The bed has all new sheet metal and floor.

Welcome. I’m from NW Ohio also, but alittle south of Defiance. I’m in Bellefontaine, but I went to Defiance College back in the day.
Sweet lookin truck. Maybe I can help you out with belts for your truck. Looks like you need some red ones.
