Have parted out several, owned several over the years and have seen a LOT of 67-72 Chevy/GMC trucks. Have NEVER seen an original hood with a factory hood molding. Do have a pic of the one you seek? I know a few trucks over the years have had a 1st Generation Monte Carlo "Chevrolet" hood strip added to the hood but it is not factory.

I have heard of 68 having hood trim.
There are 3 members that I know that could answer this question.

Maybe they will Chime In.

Okay, on the same page now. I took your "hood molding" to be a reference to a molding strip down the center length from front to back near the windshield.
